He has some unreal stories about his adventures with the best surfers in the world. He truly cares about giving people the best possible experience while in Costa Rica. He'll find things for the rest of the family to do while the surfers are out on the waves. (Make sure to do the croc tour, zip lining, & Manuel Antonio). He knows all the best tours in town and can arrange good prices.

He provides a full on experience for the whole family. Jim doesn't just pick you up from the airport then drop you off at the hotel and leave you waiting for the next set of waves. He knows all the best local spots, and more importantly, the ones to stay away from. As he always says "you have to live it to know it." And he sure does know it. Costa Rican WOK (Warehouse of Knowledge). He'll also be joining you for many of the experiences you have while down here and will get some unreal photos no matter what activity you're doing. Unless you're rich or vain enough to hire a photographer to shot you surfing, it just isn't going to happen. The more you surf, the more you know how impossible it is to get photos of yourself surfing. Photographer: On my first trip to his camp, he got some amazing shots of me and my girl friend surfing. He was once the world longboard camp and spent much of his early life on the circuit representing the US. Surf coach: He can teach every level of surfer, from first time surfers (me) to pro's already on the world tour. He's not the best surf coach in CR, but also a photographer, tour guide, warehouse of Costa Rican knowledge and just an all around good guy. My girlfriend, now fiancee, had been coming to CR for a couple years and had been raving about Jim Hogan. The first time I ever came to Costa Rica was for the Jim Hogan Surf Camp.
